Our Story
Hi, we're Daniel and Louisa Barry
We started planning this project in 2010 and after searching for the perfect location, we settled on the quiet and beautiful Aberdeenshire coast. Amenities are close to hand but we are still in a rural setting surrounded by farm land, offering the best of both for guests to enjoy.

If Carlsberg did eco lodges they would build them exactly like these. Fantastic attention to detail, a lot of thought has gone into creating the lodges and it shows. Very comfortable and beautiful surroundings, we thoroughly enjoyed dour stay and hope to return. Would have no hesitation in recommending to others.

Stunning modern lodge with everything you could need in beautiful surroundings. Great location for exploring Aberdeenshire and close enough to neighbouring towns. Great hosts and very accommodating. The dog loved it too.

Had an amazing 4 nights stay at Peregrine Lodge with my wife, looking for a tranquil and calm place to rest from the city and connect with nature. This place gave us all we needed. Beautiful, peaceful surrounding and cosy, warm lodge to rest in. The only sound is singing birds, especially in the morning. The lodge was exceptionally clean and very well equipped. Dan and Louisa are very friendly and helpful. We are grateful for their warm welcome, and that they share this beautiful place with others.

I had such a perfect stay at Wildflower, fantastic hosts and a real gem in the countryside. Honestly waking up here was such a great way to recharge, and the nature you spot from birdlife, rabbits and deer was a nice surprise. It's a brilliant spot to explore things to do in the area (I recommend Bullars of Buchan, Slains Castle and Troup Head), and the accommodation is 5 star. Ask Dan to tell you a bit about how he built them too. Thank you so much.

Most beautiful relaxing place ever. Sitting in the lodge right now writing this review. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Every single aspect has been considered and the attention to detail is phenomenal. I will absolutely be back here.
